Great camping spot, free, next to the resevoir and only 50min drive from boulder. Love it!
Boyfriend and I came up here this weekend and we had a good time. Rd359 is filled with campsites and they are all free. Large fire pits lots of privacy and room to move around. Bring your blankets it's alil chilly up there at night. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Definitely a good spot for ATVs and bikes. Fishing hiking boating hunting is all allowed.

Decided to go here after reading the reviews for our last trip of the year. Campsites are very well spaced, each one unique. Regular patrols by rangers was very comforting. Great hiking! Definitely going to be returning!
Nice place. Hate leaving a good review because I don't want more people to know about it. Wife and I love it. Bring ground Matt's since there is no organized ic material in the soil and it's like sleeping on concrete. Also could y'all please bury your poo? Seriously bring a shovel ya animals! Nice remote place. Leave the fishing pole at home and just enjoy the view though. No fishes here
